We currently have 2 different positions available to join our team.
One of the positions is for a tramper driver on general haulage working Monday to Friday and every other Saturday.
This includes containers, flatbed work, and Curtainsider work.
Experience at Southampton docks is required for this.
Class C+E driving experience of at least 3 years.
The other position is for our events work. This work involves working all days of the week meeting the demands of the work.
Some weeks can be Saturday-Thursday and some can be Monday-Friday.
It will more than likely be 5 days one week and 6 the next as this area plus the rest would give you the biggest range of work.
Because we are expanding our company and reaching more into the events work, it will involve going in and out of general haulage.
This job also will also require the driver to be prepared to be away for 3-4 months during the summer period on music tours. This would be paid every day while you are away.
It isn’t for the faint hearted so experience is a must.
As much as I do have a lot of patience, I have unfortunately been fooled by “experienced drivers” in the past for this particular role which has resulted in expensive damage.
So this role requires someone who has driven a low-ride tractor unit before and has done the type of event work described, supported with references.
The truck is based in Cricklade, Wiltshire.
