Some fares are changing as of Sunday 30 August.

For regular travellers and best value tickets, we recommend you buy your journeys on the Swindon mobile app. For occasional travel, make use of our tap on tap off service where the best fare will automatically be calculated for you and there's no need for a paper ticket.

🚍Single bus fares
These are currently capped at £3 due to the Department for Transport scheme, which is funded by UK Government. For most single journeys, this is the best option.

🌟 Our July Best in Town winner is Shawn Coles! 🌟

After completing his final route of the day, Shawn was approached by a female passenger who needed help getting home to Tidworth.

She had no money and no friends or family who could help — so Shawn went above and beyond. He drove her safely to Tidworth on his bus, before making the journey back to Swindon, arriving well after his scheduled finish time.

It’s this kind of kindness, compassion and commitment to our customers that makes us incredibly proud of our team. ❤️

We’re hitting the roads with Brighter Futures! ✨🚍

Our Charity of the Year, Brighter Futures GWH, were thrilled with our newly branded bus which is now out and about across Swindon.

The bus was unveiled to staff last week and features striking Brighter Futures branding both inside and out, helping to raise awareness of the vital work the charity does to enhance patient care beyond what the NHS can fund.

Over the next two years, we’ll be working together with Brighter Futures to raise essential funds, and our team have made it even easier to support them with QR codes onboard making it quick and easy to donate during your journey.

Free Travel for Military Personnel on Armed Forces Day 🚍

People in our region are rightfully proud of our country’s Armed Forces - and so are we. At Swindon's Bus Company, we want to show our appreciation for the incredible dedication and bravery of our servicemen and women.

To travel for free on Saturday 27 June, simply wear your military uniform, display your medals, or show a valid military or veteran ID card when boarding.

⚠️With exceptionally high temperatures forecast over the next few days, and a weather warning currently in place, customers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys, as roads may be busier than usual during the hot weather.

We also recommend that customers carry water with them and take care when travelling in the heat.

The welfare of our drivers and customers remains our priority. We are supporting our drivers throughout the hot weather by ensuring they have regular access to drinking water and the opportunity to stay properly hydrated while operating services safely.
