🚨Pony and trap racing to be banned on key Buckinghamshire roads🚨

New restrictions are set to come into force from 30 April, following ongoing safety concerns.

📊 Over 600 incidents were reported between 2020 and 2025, with concerns including traffic disruption, near misses and safety risks.

⚖️ While pony and trap use itself isn’t illegal, the move highlights growing concerns around both road safety and equine welfare when used on busy public roads.

💡 The new rules aim to reduce risk and prevent incidents before they happen.
