Route 1 & 6 update. The bus is currently in Riverhead working towards the bus station. I estimate the route 6 will depart towards Kemsing at 14:10.

🚌 UPDATED: Half-term school bus changes

✅ It’s now confirmed that schools in Tunbridge Wells will be open on 19–23 October, so routes TW1, TW3, TW4 and TW6 will now operate.

Schools in different areas are on half-term on different weeks this year, so please check before you travel.

Mon 19 – Fri 23 Oct: School-day timetables operate, but some schools are off.

These services WON’T run: S7, S9, S10, S32, S34, T3, TW2.

These service will operate: D29, D30, D77, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S8, S12, S41, TW1, TW3, TW4 and TW6 run as normal,
except:
⚠️ S3 will run via Halstead and Knockholt.
⚠️ S12 will run via the S10 route through Sutton-at-Hone between Swanley and Farningham.

Mon 26 – Fri 30 Oct: Half-term for all schools. Non-school-day timetables operate and no school services run.

Betty returns to route 477!

🚌 Join us on Saturday, 17th October, as Betty—the historic Marshall Capital Dennis Dart SLF—makes a one-day-only comeback on route 477!

Operating the route between Swanley and Dartford, this restored bus is ready to turn heads in her classic Go-Coach livery.

Normal fares apply. Day tickets on the 477 are just £5.50 or get a GoBus Go-Anywhere Ticket for £7.30

Schools in different areas are on half-term on different weeks this year, so please check before you travel.

Mon 19 – Fri 23 Oct: School-day timetables operate, but some schools are off.

These services WON’T run:
S7, S9, S10, S32, S34, T3, TW1, TW2, TW3, TW4, TW6.

All daytime services plus these school services WILL run:

🔧 From off the road to roadworthy: GoBus Engineering brings a London Dart back to life 🚌

We’re proud to have helped restore Dennis Dart DLM 150 (X667 LLX), which was formally handed over from Metroline to the London Transport Museum at Acton on Saturday 26 September.

DLM 150 arrived at our Swanley depot from storage as a non-running vehicle. The GoBus Engineering team got stuck in with a full restoration of the underside and chassis, and did everything needed to take it from off the road to fully operational and ready for its Class 6 MOT. It then went on for bodywork restoration ahead of the handover.

It’s a great example of what our engineers can do. The same team that keeps our modern fleet running every day, including our electric buses, brought traditional heavy engineering skills to a 2000-built Dart with Plaxton Pointer bodywork. With Swanley depot celebrating its centenary last year, keeping buses on the road is something we’ve been doing here for a very long time.

DLM 150 has already served its community twice: first on Metroline’s PB1 Potters Bar town service, then as TfL’s Learning Bus L2, teaching young Londoners how to travel safely. Now it takes its place in the Museum’s permanent collection. Thank you to the London Transport Museum for the opportunity to be part of its story. 👏

Route 477 and 429 urgent information. Owing to a closure of Azalea Drive we’re unable to serve bus stops on Goldsel Road and Azalea Drive.
The 477 will curtail on the High Street.
The 429 will wait time on the High Street in both directions.
