🔔 We have some exciting news…
Due to the high demand for Swanage to acquire a fishing tackle shop, we have been working hard the past year to try and figure out how to make this happen.
Since the closing of Swanage Angling Centre two years ago, we recognise the drawbacks for local anglers, visiting anglers and for the town itself. Our location proves very popular for fishing, and we have also seen a huge increase in the younger generation taking up the sport. We believe that to provide an all year round facility to buy bait and tackle locally, will bring more anglers to Swanage and encourage younger folk to spend more time outside! 🎣🎣
We are very excited to announce that our new Bait & Tackle Shop / Trip & Tours Booking Office will be located on Swanage Pier, in replacement of the old gift shop. Our intentions are to work closely with the Pier to help extend fishing opening times and ticket purchasing options.
We are very grateful to Swanage Pier for this opportunity, whilst remaining nervously optimistic, but we can only give it our best shot!
**We currently don’t have a set opening date, however our aim is for the week beginning 27th April. Over the next few weeks we will be making changes to our booking system, phone line service and website so please be patient with us if we don’t respond promptly. You can always directly message us through Facebook or email at [email protected], and our existing phone number is still available until further notice**
🔔 Please be reassured that to visit the shop,
NO PIER ADMISSION FEE will be required! 🔔
This also applies to visiting the wonderful Pier Cafe & Bistro or to access the pier for boarding any of our trips.
Paid parking on the Pier still applies.
