New year, new gear👌

Alpkit Stingray custom frame bag. A bit of advice for anyone ordering - bag with is available from 4cm- 9cm. I went for 7cm and a horizontal divider. I think anything wider, for me personally, would be too wide, especially when you take into account bulging.

The Badger Divide - Slimmed the bike down for a quick 4 day blast down the 200 mile, Inverness to Glasgow off road route.
There’s not a lot of rain forecast, so you can guarantee it’ll p**s it down, nonstop.
With 17,000 feet of climbing, I’m not sure I’ll make it all the way by Saturday lunchtime…but I’ll certainly get wet trying

Spent the last week heading north through The Netherlands. The weather hasn’t been great, with some very heavy rain and strong headwinds…but hey, this is Northern Europe in April 😂
Cycling through Amsterdam was ‘an experience’, we ended up just pushing the bikes through the busiest parts.
The Dutch are great, we get stopped all the time by people asking where we’re going, where we’re from, etc. So much generosity and kindness. 🇳🇱🙏
We’re exploring the Wadden Islands at the moment, then depending on the weather, either on to Germany or continue exploring the islands.

Packing has started for the Grand Tour of Northern Europe in 3 weeks. I broke my arm a few weeks ago, so hopefully it’s going to be okay to cycle 🙏😊
