The Port of Stornoway offers a range of facilities unmatched in the northwest of Scotland. This lively town has everything you would expect of a modern Commercial Port as well as including one of the leading slipway facilities on the We

st Coast and islands. The Port is the main entry/exit point for all goods imported to and exported from the island. Over 1000 vessel movements are recorded annually comprising of commercial vessels, daily car passenger and freight ferries, cruise liners and many other vessel types. Stornoway is one of the few ports on the West coast of Scotland offering two Ro-ro Linkspan facilities and handles almost 200,000 passengers per annum. As tourism increases Stornoway's modern ferry terminal is welcoming tourists from across the Globe. The port is becoming a popular stop over for cruise liners and visiting yachts.

Members of the public are being reminded that Stornoway Port’s annual public meeting takes place tonight at An Lanntair at 6.30pm.
The meeting is an opportunity to hear updates on the Port’s work, ask questions, and learn more about current priorities and future plans.
