Friday evening arrival for ‘ Island Sky’ with an overnight in Stornoway and departing Saturday afternoon. The beginning of the end to a busy week!
More to follow next week with Monday and Tuesday having 4 cruise liners over the two days. Roll in sunshine!!

‘Silver Cloud’ outside Stornoway today having arrived from Greenland. Sea conditions not suitable for transferring passengers to shore so unfortunately all tours were cancelled.

Rough weather doesn’t stop Stornoway’s No.1 though, as we boarded along with UKBF and Stornoway port Pilot and returned safely! Thank you ‘Portrona’ and crew.

We welcome ‘L’Austral’ today to a beautiful sunny Stornoway. The beginning of a busy fortnight ahead for sss and Stornoway Port with another 11 expected by end of May!

It’s been a long long time coming but here we have the Hurtigruten vessels ‘Spitsbergen’ and ‘Maud’ making their first calls to Stornoway. Back to normal folks😃😃

It’s been a long time but the wait is now over! The ‘Hebridean Sky’ arrived this morning as our first cruise liner since February 2020. It may be a short visit with only 3 coach tours doing west side circuit with no guests roaming the streets. It’s a start to returning to normal

Sad to see them scrapped as they were regular here in Stornoway over the years and many pennies in to local economy.

The Cruise & Maritime Voyages fleet auction is over, with five ships heading to new owners or to scrap, and the values have finally been revealed as buyers...
