🚛 Another specialist recovery completed by Go Far Recovery 🚛

This Range Rover Velar presented a bit more of a challenge than your average recovery job.

The vehicle was a non-runner and stuck firmly in park after the emergency park release cable had been previously snapped, meaning there was no way to select neutral or free off the transmission. With the wheels locked, a standard recovery wasn't an option.

Using our specialist wheel skates, we were able to carefully manoeuvre the vehicle out of its parking position, safely load it onto the recovery truck, and transport it without causing any damage.

These are the types of jobs where experience and the right equipment make all the difference. Modern vehicles are becoming increasingly complex, and not every recovery is as simple as attaching a winch and pulling it aboard.

A massive thank you to Custom Tuning Aberdeen & CT Garage Portlethen for their continued support over the last few years, and especially over the past 4 months.

Without going into too much detail, it's been the toughest period we've faced since starting Go Far Recovery. Like any small business, there are times when things get challenging, and every bit of support makes a difference.

CT Garage Services have continued to put their trust in us, keeping work coming our way and helping us keep the wheels turning when we needed it most. That kind of support doesn't go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

Today was another busy day helping out the team at CT Garage Services, with a handful of jobs ranging from everyday cars right through to a 6-berth motorhome. No matter the size of the vehicle, we had all bases covered and got the job done safely and professionally.

Another recovery completed safely by Go Far Recovery 🚛💨

Absolutely shocking to hear that a major breakdown club thought it was acceptable to leave a young lassie stranded on the hard shoulder for nearly 6 hours. A dangerous situation that should never happen.

I think the major breakdown club needs to give their head a shake if they think that’s acceptable.

One phone call to us and we were on scene within the hour, getting both customer and vehicle recovered safely and stress-free 👍

Vehicle was safely recovered and stored securely overnight, ready for redelivery tomorrow morning — allowing the customer to get on with their night and day tomorrow without the extra hassle of dropping keys off etc.

That’s the difference between the big boys and the wee guys 👌
