Bulgaria is a 10/10 football destination 🇧🇬⚽️

I spent a weekend watching 3 top-division games and spent less than I would on a single day in London. High stakes, low prices, and pure Balkan atmosphere. 🏟️🔥

Levski, Septemvri and CSKA without any annual leave!

Sliding back to work after the Bank Holiday weekend like... 😅🏃‍♂️

What an unbelievable day at the HDanywhere Community Stadium! I witnessed a bit of history yesterday as Malvern Town FC secured their highest-ever level of promotion in a 3-2 thriller against Shaftesbury.

After falling 2-1 behind, the second-half comeback was pure drama. Watching Sam Clark grab the winner and seeing the scenes at the final whistle is exactly why I love groundhopping. This was my 252nd football ground, and it’s easily one of the most scenic spots for a play-off final! 🏔️⚽️
Massive congrats to all the Hillsiders on their promotion to the Southern League Premier! 📈🏆

Did anyone else make it to the game?

I'm applying to be England's representative in the Dazn 48 this summer. As a volunteer and supporter of an 8th tier club. I feel it's important our representative is one who speaks for all football fans, not just those at the top!

I'm also an ESTC member travelling to watch England home and away. With 7/8 qualifiers in the bank, and all 7 games at Euro24.

My video application is linked below, if you could support by commenting and letting know that the pyramid needs to be heard!

Is there anything quite like non-league football? We spent our bank holiday weekend at Eccleshall Football Club for the North West Counties Division One South Play-off Final, and it was an absolute emotional rollercoaster.

Eccleshall FC took on Stockport Georgians. It looked like the home side had it in the bag after a clinical penalty from the veteran Danny Glover, but football is a cruel game! A 93rd-minute wonder strike from Stockport sent us into extra time, and eventually, the dreaded penalties. 😱

Massive congratulations to Stockport Georgians on their promotion to the Premier Division! 🏆 But a huge shoutout to the Eagles at Eccleshall for a fantastic season and being such great hosts. Between the great facilities and that top-tier food hut.

If you could, like, repost, and comment tagging this would go along way to helping!

Let's make sure our representative not only cares about the top of the pyramid but also those of us at the bottom! That's what English football culture is all about!

Is the Premier League pricing you out of your own game? 🏟️💸

It’s time to stop being a customer for a global corporation and start being the heartbeat of your local community. While the "Big Six" focus on broadcast rights, your local non-league club is ten minutes away and needs your help to keep the gates open.

From Stafford Rangers to Witton Albion, the soul of football isn't on a screen—it’s on the terraces. This season, our group of volunteers raised over £11.5k of revenue unofficially through simple things like coach trips and raffles. Imagine what your club could do with just one more pair of hands. 🤝

Don't just watch the game this Saturday. Help run it. Volunteer, grab a pint, and remember why you fell in love with football in the first place.

It’s a bitter pill to swallow when your local rivals are on the up! 😅

I headed over to Keys Park last night to catch the first playoff groundhop of the season. Watching Hednesford Town FC’s journey has been wild—just three years ago they were fighting for survival at Step 4, and now they are packin' out the stadium and chasing promotion in the Northern Premier League (Step 3).

The investment is clear and the atmosphere was massive, with attendances tripling lately. A clinical performance and a game-changing red card for Stockton saw the home side take a 2-0 win. ⚽️📈

Whatever your colors, you have to respect the turnaround. Is this the best stadium at this level? Let’s hear your thoughts in the comments! 👇

The Boro on Tour: USA Edition! 🇺🇸🦅

Safety confirmed! ✅ The Stafford Rangers faithful turned the final day of the season into a massive party at Vauxhall Motors. 🇺🇸🦅

From 200+ fans in incredible USA-themed fancy dress to a red card and pints with the gaffer, this is exactly why we love the non-league. The result on the pitch didn't go our way, but the atmosphere in the stands was top-tier. 🍻⚽️

Huge credit to everyone who traveled and made some noise. The future is looking bright at the Stan Robinson Stadium! 💜

The Reality of Grassroots Football: Ground #251 🏟️

It’s not all Premier League glitz and glamour. This week, my groundhopping journey took me to Grosvenor Park, home of Lane Head FC.
To be honest, it’s heartbreaking to see a ground in this state. From the derelict main stand to the crumbling perimeter, it’s easily the most "rugged" ground I’ve visited this season.
A Bit of History 📖
Lane Head FC reformed in 2004 following a stint as Blakenall FC (in partnership with Bloxwich United). They’ve only had a senior side since 2018, and while the volunteers work tirelessly, the lack of support for clubs at this level of the pyramid is clear to see.
The Matchday Experience ⚽️
Entry: Only £4.00 🎟️
Food: A nice basic bar with snacks and a small range of pies 🥧
Atmosphere: Real, raw, and community-driven.
Despite the conditions, you have to admire the spirit of the volunteers who keep these clubs alive. That said, the pyramid needs to do more to support these grassroots gems before they’re gone for good.

COULD THIS BE EUROPE’S BEST HIDDEN DERBY? 🇳🇴⚽

Most people think of the Prem or the Bundesliga for atmosphere, but the Oslo Derby (Vålerenga vs. Lillestrøm) is on a completely different level. From the massive tifos to the non-stop pyrotechnics at the Intility Arena, the passion in Norway is world-class. 🎆🙌

I’m documenting my journey visiting 250 football grounds across 24 countries on a budget. This match was a perfect example of why I love groundhopping—finding world-class passion in places people often overlook. 🌍✈️

The Matchday Stats:
📍 Venue: Intility Arena, Oslo
🔥 Attendance: 16,500+
⚽ Atmosphere: 10/10
🎟️ Ticket price: £19
✈️ Flights: £33

Country #24 watching football is officially in the books. I need your help for the next one—where should I go for country 25? 🏟️👇

250 grounds done is a real milestone!
