Good morning,

Further to my emails last week, I can confirm that we will have 2 vehicles taking students home from Hulme Hall Grammar School tomorrow evening in lieu of the normal service.

Both vehicles will be outside school in the usual place ready to pick students up tomorrow evening. The services will leave school at 1535hrs as usual and follow the routes in the order listed below:

*Coach 1*

Patch Lane, Queensgate
Robins Lane
CHS
Red Fort, Cheadle Hulme
Gatley Tatton
Ivy Church, Didsbury
Chorlton Bus Station

*Coach 2*

Costa Coffee, Marple
Bank Square
Waitrose, Alderley Edge
Hale Cenotaph

I have set up a temporary route for each service on the app so all being well, if things go to plan, you should be able to track your child on the service providing they scan on with our drivers 😊

Good evening,

As you may already be aware, CHS will be closing earlier on Wednesday 10th June so that staff can prepare the Open Evening event.

We have arranged for earlier services to run for CHS students. The routes will run as normal but will depart from school at 1500hrs instead.

HHGS students will be provided with an alternative service leaving school at 1535hrs as per the email sent out to parents/carers earlier this week.

The school have stated that they do not require the Late Bus for this date, and therefore none will be scheduled. Please ensure that if your child stays behind after school, alternative provisions are in place for them to get home that evening.

Good morning,
As you may already be aware, further road works have popped up on/near Vicarage Lane/Langham Road in Bowdon over the half term. Consequently, we are having to close the Langham Road/Vicarage Lane pickup/drop off with immediate effect as there is not an alternative safe place we can stop for the children. Students should use the pickup in Bow Green instead.
As soon as the road works are complete, we will notify you that
the route will resume as normal.

Good morning,

June passes are now available on the app for purchasing ready for the 1st June.

If you are unsure whether your child has a pass already for June, please click on 'Bookings Calendar' and choose a school date in June. if there is a pass, it will show under the calendar.

Please remember if you do not purchase a pass for 2 months or more, your child's account will close automatically. If your child is undertaking exams and will be coming back in September, please ensure you purchase an adhoc pass to keep your account live over the summer.

If your account closes and you wish to return to using the service within 6 months after the closure date, a place is not guaranteed and the returners admin fee is £200 within that time scale. 🫣 (the £10.00 ad hoc pass far cheaper to keep things active just in case!)

KA1 PM Service 20/05/2026:

Good afternoon,

Unfortunately the KA1 service will arrive late at School for this afternoon's pickup due to the vehicle allocated being delayed because of roadworks. Unfortunately, we do not have any drivers available to take over the route today in an alternative vehicle to avoid the delay.
The expected arrival time at school is 15.45hrs.
School has been informed in advance.
I am sorry for any inconvenience caused by this unavoidable delay.

Friday 15th May 2026
Good morning,
The route CH-E and Late Bus both have emergency roadworks being undertaken near Park Road which will impact certain drop off points whilst we divert around them.

** PARK ROAD SHOPS**
CH-E AM pickup will be just past past the turning for Park Road on Arthog Road
CH-E PM and CH-LATE drop off will be just before the shops on Arthog Road

** PARKHILL ROAD**
CH-E AM pickup will be on the same side as Parkhill Road
Ch-E PM & CH-LATE drop off will be on the opposite side to Parkhill Road

**BOOTHS/ASDA**
CH-E AM pickup as normal
CH-E PM and CH-LATE drop off at the bus stop on Wicker Lane immediately past Booths/Asda

We will send out emails/notifications when we are able to return to the normal route again.

CH-B: Diversion Lifted
Good morning,

Please be advised that the service for CH-B is now fully operational again and pickups can re-commence at Barlow Medical Centre and Co-Op Didsbury as normal.

CH-B: Continued Road Closure Affecting the AM Service

Good evening,
Further to my email last week, I am emailing with a further update on the road closure on Wilmslow Road affecting the AM service.
Unfortunately, the stops at Barlow Medical Centre and Co-Op Didsbury are still not accessible to us as the road is still closed in our direction of traffic.
As the works are not planned, we are unable to determine how long this closure will be in place but we will update you again via notification/email once the road re-opens and normal service can be resumed.

Good evening,

I have just been notified that the route CH-G will be delayed arriving to school this afternoon due to traffic.

The coach is due to arrive at CHS coach Park at 1615hrs.

CHS have been informed. Students should remain with staff at CHS until the service arrives.
