Spring Rails and Ales continues on the South Devon Railway today.

Reminder that this evening is Bingo Night. Start time 1830 ish..... tickets will be available from the Yard Bar later on. CASH PRIZES.

UPDATE!!!!

Sorry Kettle fans. 🚂

Due to a fault with steam locomotive 1369, the three remaining steam train diagrams for today will be hauled by diesel locomotive 25265, built in 1966.

Diesel 33002 will be hauling its train for the rest of the day and in to the evening, as planned.

Day 2 of Rails and Ales. Sadly im not on site for the remainder of the festival but the show must go on.

A reminder, we have 2 Bars.... The real ale and cider bar is located on the platform in the old Goods Shed. We had a few people yesterday go straight to the Yard Bar and missed out.

Also this evening we have a live band on. The Strydes.

Last day preparations. We look forward to seeing you all over the next few days.

UPDATES.
TICKETS. The South Devon Railway are offering £11 returns to Staverton for those wishing to get the Heritage trains from either Totnes or Buckfastleigh. These can be purchased on the SDR website or on the day.

CATERING. There will be a BBQ on site in the yard. They will also be selling Pasties and sandwiches. Teas and coffee will also now be available from the Yard Bar.

BINGO NIGHT. This will be on Sunday evening to replace the traditional quiz. Tickets will be available from the Yard Bar with CASH PRIZES available. Start time 18:30.
