Stapleford Flight Centre (Official) As one of the largest flying schools in the UK, Stapleford offers comprehensive training for all levels of pilots, from PPL to commercial qualifications.

Stapleford Flight Centre (SFC), along with the airfield itself, is a privately-owned and family-run business. Established in 1969, SFC has been training private and airline pilots for over forty years. With it's friendly yet professional approach, Stapleford offers not only PPL and Commercial flight training, but also gift experiences ranging from trial flying lessons to adrenaline pumping aerobatic flights.

We are recruiting a new team member for our Reception/Operations department at Stapleford Flight Centre. You will be required to work a three week shift pattern of approximately 26-30 hours a week. Shifts are split commencing 08.30am until 2pm or 1.45pm. until close (approx 7pm) Shifts include weekends and bank holidays.

Skills, Abilities and Education:

Operating computers and familiar with Windows Program
Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people. Able to be discreet and diplomatic, approachable and flexible
Ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision covering all aspects of the reception function, with ability to use initiave appropriately.
Ability and willingness to cover for other administrative team members and work outside of normal hours on occasions
An understanding of reception and customer service work
Educated to a good standard with GCSE in English and Maths
Excellent numeracy skills
Experience of handling money and tills
You will be part of a small team providing reception services and co-ordinating the smooth daily running of our operations department.

DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE AIRFIELD - YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT.

YOU SHOULD LIVE WITHIN 45 MINUTES TRAVELLING TIME OF THE AIRFIELD.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Open Day at Stapleford Flight Centre this weekend! ✈️

We were delighted with the turnout and loved welcoming so many prospective students to the airfield to experience what training at Stapleford is all about. It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm for aviation and future flying careers.

Thank you to all of our incredible staff and students for helping make the day run so smoothly, and a special shoutout to Helen for all of the hard work that went into organising the event behind the scenes. 🤩👏

We look forward to welcoming many of you back to Stapleford very soon!👨‍✈️

We have one place available on our upcoming Flight Instructor Course!👨‍✈️
Would you like to share your passion of flying and teach the next generation of pilots?
This is a full time course that takes 5-6 weeks and includes 30 hours of flight training and 125 hours of theoretical knowledge instruction.
You will learn how to teach, prepare and give technical lectures and conduct pre-flight briefs.
