Hope your seats are in the upright position, tray tables stowed and those seatbelts are nice and tight… because this Saturday is looking proper TEDCELLENT!
Vulcan bomber XL426 is firing up for another taxi run at London Southend Airport! She’s being lovingly kept in tip-top running order by the absolute legends at the Vulcan Restoration Trust, and we’ve been lucky enough to see her come alive on so many occasions. What a beauty she is!
And the good news keeps rolling… our lovely friends at the Holiday Inn Southend are opening up the 1935 Rooftop Restaurant & Bar AND the balcony just for all you enthusiasts who want the best view of this iconic aircraft. The food’s cracking too, so grab yourself a drink, get a bite to eat, settle in and soak up every moment of pure Vulcan magic.
