Is anyone else fed up of looking out the window and seeing rain? 🌧️🙈

For some it's a work day, for others a day off, but with weather like this it feels like a good opportunity to catch up on those jobs we've been putting off, ready to make the most of the next sunny riding day when it finally arrives! ☀️🏍️

Another great piece from ITV News Granada at the Isle of Man TT, continuing their coverage of women in motorcycling. 👏

It's fantastic to see women riders being recognised and their stories shared on such a high-profile platform.

The more visibility, encouragement and support there is for women in motorcycling, the more it helps inspire others to get involved and enjoy everything that life on two wheels has to offer.

Well worth a watch if you haven't seen it already. 🏍️💜

Yesterday evening, Women on Wheels popped along to the annual Two Wheeled Tuesday event in Stone High Street 🏍️

Despite the unpredictable weather and a few showers, there was still a good turnout of bikes and enthusiasts. It was lovely to catch up with familiar faces and meet some new ones too.

Events like this are a reminder of what makes the biking community so special - you might turn up on your own, but it never takes long before you're chatting with friends, old and new. ❤️

Sometimes the best connections happen right on your doorstep! ❤️

This morning's breakfast meet was with Staffordshire-based Vikki Brooks.

Although not a rider... YET!😉
Vikki has been a motorcycle enthusiast since her teenage years and over the years, has always preferred life as a pillion passenger, enjoying adventures on two wheels alongside her husband.

What's even more surprising is that although we first crossed paths through my connection with Yorkshire-based Mac Motorcycles neither of us realised that Vikki was actually living just 20 minutes away from me here in Staffordshire!

We'd also briefly crossed paths back in March at the, 'Showcasing Staffordshire's Women in Business' event, but today was the first opportunity we'd had to sit down and chat properly.

And what a conversation it was!

What started as a breakfast meet quickly became a brilliant exchange of ideas, from supporting more women in motorcycling to encouraging and championing women in business.

There was certainly no shortage of inspiration at the table! 🏍️💜💼

It's always inspiring to meet passionate people who share a vision for encouraging more women to get involved, whether that's as riders, pillions, enthusiasts, business owners or supporters of the biking community.
