I love "Penguins" π€©
Although we're only three months into the current year, the 2027 Historic Narrow Boats calendar is being printed as we speak and will be available very soon. As usual it will come in both double A4 and slimline formats. Once again The Calendar Company are doing an excellent job.
This one is a bit special as it's the 10th anniversary edition. It still sells exceptionally well, which is not bad for something that began as 'just an idea'. Like a good many things these days, the printing and postage costs have increased, but I'll try my best to maintain the previous price level.
I've almost achieved my self-imposed 12 different boats in 12 unique locations on 12 individual waterways. The Shroppie features twice, but there are many considerations when making the final selection. For the cover I used a sunny winter shot of Trout and Norah, the reason for which - apart from being an attractive image - will become apparent in due course.
The plan for this year is to attend a few events and make the calendars available to a wider audience. Now that boating activities are set to go into overdrive in the coming months, I hope to see many of you out on the cut.
