We recently spent a few days at Rothiemurchus Campsite in Aviemore. A lovely site just outside the town on the way to Loch Morlich. Situated in the trees, we were entertained by squirrels, birds and even a woodpecker, although we never could see where it was!
We parked up and used our bikes to get around, taking a lovely cycle through the nearby forest, via the beautiful Loch an Eilein. We ate lunch at the beautiful Cairngorm Hotel, had a wander around the shops before heading back to the motorhome.
The following day we went to Landmark Forest Adventure Park where we spent a few hours bouncing and walking, before returning in the evening for their excellent Ancient Forest Twilights event.
On our last morning we went to TreeZone where Harvey had a great time on the Treetop Adventure Course, followed by a fabulous lunch at The Barn Cafe.
Aviemore is always a good idea, with lots to do for everyone.
