Teamwork, Partnerships and technology when all three align it’s truly amazing.

Today we saw firsthand just how.

📞 - 11:05 to Seaside taxis. Customer has been let down by a company local to her (Hinkley) she was due to be brought with her kids to Ingoldmells today. However she needs to be in Ingoldmells for 1500 at the latest.
Seaside taxis have already a busy morning and with best will in the world couldn’t pick up in time so they reach out to Central Cars.

📞 - 11:17 call to Central Office. After checking the online dispatch system operator sees we have two possible solutions. One driver clears at Birmingham airport with an eta of 11:38 and one is on route to East Mids with an eta of 11:37 Icabbi dispatches driver from Birmingham. Customer is collected at 12:32 and is due at Ingoldmells on time.

For the customers this was one call, for the operators this was one call, the dispatch system made the choice within milliseconds and kept a familes holiday.

To us this was just another simple job. To the family this was their special weekend away.
