A lively airfield in the heart of the Lincolnshire fens promoting the amateur sport of flying, we provide social facilities for our members, visitors and guests, as well as flying experiences and training operated by Fenland Flying School.

Thank you for a brilliant Wings & Wheels 2026!

Yesterday was a fantastic day at Fenland Airfield, and we just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event.

Thank you as well to all the volunteers, pilots, exhibitors, traders, entertainers and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the day happen.

Wings & Wheels is on today at Fenland Airfield from 10am to 4pm.

Come along for:

✈️ Aircraft
🚗 Classic and interesting vehicles
🎶 Live music
🏰 Inflatables and family fun
🍔 Food and refreshments
🛍️ Stalls and traders
🛩️ Air experience flights

We’re also expecting a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fly-past at around 11:45am. It could be a little earlier or later, so if you’re hoping to see it, we’d recommend arriving in good time.

BBMF fly-past tomorrow! ✈️

We’re now expecting a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fly-past at Wings & Wheels tomorrow, with either a Spitfire or Hurricane due to appear.

We’re expecting the fly-past at around 11:45am, although it could be a little earlier or later, so we’d recommend being on site in good time if you’re hoping to see it.

It should be a very special moment at Fenland Airfield.

Take to the skies this Sunday ✈️

As part of Wings & Wheels this Sunday, there’ll be some fantastic opportunities to get closer to the flying side of the day.

The Chipmunk WD292 group will be offering 20-minute flights for £150 — a great chance to experience the skies in a beautiful vintage Chipmunk.

The Fenland Flying School will also be offering flights in their training fleet at some very special event prices:

£90 for 1 person
£60 each for 2 people
£40 each for 3 people

These flights will be available on a first come, first served basis on the day.

We’re also pleased to have The Light Aircraft Company with us, demonstrating part of their range, including the:

✈️ Aero Shark 600
✈️ Lightwing AC4 LSA-CS

Whether you fancy a flight, want to see something a little different, or just enjoy being around aircraft, there’ll be plenty to see at Fenland Airfield this Sunday.

Wings & Wheels returns to Fenland Airfield this Sunday for our biggest day of the year.

Come along for a full day of aircraft, classic and interesting vehicles, family activities, live music, food, stalls and plenty more across the airfield.

We’ll also have air experience flights available in Cessna aircraft and Chipmunks, plus a planned Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fly-past during the day.*

Come along and enjoy our car meet on Thursday night.

If like normal, there will be some super hot rods, American muscle cars and other British interesting examples to look at.

Hot food and cool drinks available.

Why not ✈️✈️ fly-in ✈️✈️and take a look at the fab cars that join us.

We start at 6.30pm and round off at 8.30pm.
