☀️ A fantastic afternoon at our Global Summer Event! ⛳🍦
Last Friday, the whole team came together to enjoy our annual summer event and what a brilliant afternoon it was.
We kicked things off with a delicious hog roast lunch, kindly served by Hog & Ale Experience, before a company communication session where we reflected on how the business has been performing so far this year and looked ahead to what's next.
We also took the opportunity to celebrate John Doy, who retired last week. Thank you, John, for your dedication, commitment and contribution to Global over the years. We wish you a long, happy and well-deserved retirement! 👏
The afternoon then turned competitive as everyone was split into teams for a unique mini golf challenge. The twist? Each team had to design and build their own mini golf hole before taking on the course. There were some incredibly creative ideas, plenty of laughs and a healthy dose of friendly competition!
To top it all off, the ice cream truck paid us another visit, which was a much-appreciated treat on such a beautiful sunny afternoon. Thank you, Global! 🍦☀️
