Great to be at CHEMUK 2026 () at the NEC this week - the UK’s leading trade event for the chemicals, process engineering and formulated products sectors.

It was a valuable opportunity to speak with manufacturing businesses from across the UK about the challenges they face managing liquid waste streams across single and multi-site operations. Also to catch up with others in the waste management industry who we collaborate with.

We discussed a wide range of waste streams we can support with, including the collection of:

✅ Effluents, coolants, cutting oils
✅ Waste oils
✅ Contaminated washout water
✅ Chemicals
✅ Scrubber waste
✅ Wastewater

Our additional services:

✅ Bund area cleans of chemical stores units

As specialists in liquid waste management, our focus is always on listening to requirements and proposing the most practical, cost-effective and environmentally responsible solution - from how the waste is collected, to where it is ultimately treated or recovered.

In several conversations, we discussed how we can attend site with one of our vacuum tankers to pump waste directly from the IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers), instead of removing full loads of IBCs, which can significantly reduce cost.

Automotive 🚘 Spotlight:
Another regular used lubricating oil collection for one of our longstanding independent garage customers.

Using one of our four-wheel rigid 9,500 litre tankers, these smaller tankers in our fleet enable our experienced drivers to collect waste oil from garages even when access is tight.

The used lubricating oil is taken directly to one of our nearest processing sites for re-refining back to a base oil.
Alongside used oil, we also manage a full range of automotive waste streams for them, including:

✅ Oily rags
✅ Filters
✅ Antifreeze
✅ Brake fluid and brake pads
✅ Thinners and aerosols
✅ Batteries

It was fantastic to be back at the NEC for The UK Concrete Show this week engaging with companies about responsible oil and waste management.

We had some great conversations and discussed the wide range of waste solutions we can provide - ranging from the collection of hydraulic oil, the emptying and cleaning of interceptors, to the collection of chemicals.

We’re looking forward to following up, arranging meetings and site visits, and building new partnerships.
