Absolutely Brilliant day on the lures Again & personally my favourite way to fish for bass!

Today i was rewarded with a
A Nice 6lb 6oz Bass after a few casts of My favourite set up the savage ssg5 rod with penn Slammer 2500 loaded with berkley 20lbs sick braid,

It was a Bass a cast at some points great sport plenty of keepers
all lures 4-6 inch were working but the savage surf seeker did the best on numbers!!

LURES!!!

Got my Bass lure combo out today!

We Had our first quick little lure session of the season over LW

The water clarity & conditions were perfect!

But Unfortunately no luck this time but i will be trying most days now as it’s going to be happening any day!!!

Iv put years into perfecting the lure fishing & this summer its really going to show!!!

SO BRING THEM LURE SET UPS

Lures!!

Head offshore to target bass on the lures only!
We arrived at the chosen mark straight in to some nice size bass first few drifts!
It soon slowed & became a bit tough with poor water visibility from the out going tide,
A few moves a different drifts needed to get it going again but with the boys fishing hard they all soon started to catch bass on the lures again,
Andy was top rod with 17 bass himself with several keepers to 3lbish the boys had a total of around 80 odd bass on the boat a great bit of sport even with the seals ripping several of our hooks!
I have lots of further offshore bass lure trips planned in September & October
