HGV Driver Removals Porter Required!
Fox Group (Moving and Storage) Ltd

Do you hold a Cat C HGV licence? Are you a hard-working individual with a “can-do” attitude, who can successfully work as part of a team? Do you have excellent customer service skills? If the answer is yes to all three questions then you could be exactly the person we are looking to add to our experienced and welcoming team.

We are looking for Class 1 or 2 HGV drivers to join our removal team in Totton, nr Southampton so40.

Full Time/ Permanent

The job involves meeting and working around members of the public, so appearance is very important and to this end full company uniform will be provided and is to be worn at all times. Previous experience within the removals industry is advantageous but not a necessity.

The contract is based on a basic 40 hour week with opportunity for overtime. The role does involve nights away and occasional weekend working.

You will need a Digital Tacho Card and an up-to-date CPC.

Progressive personal development and training will be provided by Fox.

You will need excellent customer service skills as the job involves meeting and working around members of the public.

· read and receive daily orders
· ensure adequate packing materials and equipment are on the van for the day’s job(s)
· completion of legal and Company documentation
· packing assorted household/office goods
· transporting household/office goods to/from vehicle
· liaising with customer regarding placement of effects and unpacking where required
· ensure paperwork for each move is complete and return to general office
· collect monies when required and hand to office in accordance with Company procedures
· maintain a safe working environment
· to work in accordance with procedures stated in the Operators Manual
· carry out further tasks exigent to the circumstances of the Company

Pay: £28,340.00-£30,680.00 per year
