It’s always great to see our facilities and team supporting such an impressive project, and even better to see the finished result on the water.

Thank you to Groupe Dubreuil for sharing this fantastic footage with us.

Williams Shipping were recently asked to assist a cruise ship exchange their anchor. Having only a small window whilst the cruise ship was alongside in Southampton, the anchor was delivered to the marine base at 21 berth and the Willdiscover & Wilcarry 300 were mobilised to effect the change-out. Making use of the Willdiscover’s Heila 170t crane greatly assisted in the operation.

Our experienced team can support a wide range of marine operations. For details about our marine service, please visit our website - https://www.williams-shipping.co.uk/marine/ or get in touch with our team at [email protected]

Recently, Williams Shipping mobilised the Willdiscover, Willsupply and Wilcarry 504 with specialist dive equipment to locate and recover a dredger’s lost drag head. Having located the drag head at a depth of 32m in the Nab anchorage area, the barge was moored in position enabling divers to rig recovery equipment. Utilising the Willdiscover’s 70t deck winch and Heila crane the 20t / 20m long drag head was successfully recovered to the deck.

Following the recovery, Williams Shipping provided berthing & cranage at their marine base in Southampton to support the ship operator repairing the drag head, allowing the ship to return to dredging operations.

It was our first time participating in The Kiltwalk last Sunday, Scotland’s largest mass participation walking event.

With events across Scotland, Kiltwalkers can raise funds for any charity of their choice. Find out more at www.thekiltwalk.co.uk

Along with our GIF TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS colleagues, we were raising money for our Scottish charity Charlie House HQ which aims to improve the quality of life for babies, children and young people in the North-east of Scotland who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and to provide support for them and their families.

To find out more, please visit https://lnkd.in/e_2QDbY

We walked 18 miles from Banchory along the River Dee back to Aberdeen & experienced not only beautiful scenery & good weather, but a fantastic atmosphere from supporters and cheerers along the route & amongst all the walkers.

Thank you so much to all who have donated so far to this fantastic cause.
It is not too late if you would like to add to our donations, the Just Giving page is here:
