The rig came down on this Carbon 20 whilst competing . The shroud point failed, pulling off a section of deck laminate. Thankfully, the mast survived with just minor scratches.
The shroud point has been completely rebuilt and reinforced (along with the opposite side).
The repair was finished off with some fresh grip.

Yet more applied to this venerable dinghy. The original progrip had lost its "purpleness" (and grip!). With the old grip and glue removed, the new SeaDek was templated, cut to shape, and applied.
SeaDek is one of the more expensive grips on the market but is well worth the money, compared to the more cheaper alternatives out there. The foam is of a stiff enough density that it does not cut up easily but still offers the right amount cushioning. The glue! When it is down, it is stuck! No peeling up around the edges, unlike some of the other "self adhesive" grips on the market with paper backed adhesives.

2 boats for .harris and .wrigley for regripping. Side deck grip replaced with . The rear cockpit floor grip sanded and then replaced with Griptex Extra Coarse. Both boats now ready for shipping off to next years events. Another team trusting us with their equipment maintenance.

"It's a dent. It just needs filling." This is why we cut out dents and replace the core. Here, the core has sheared, leaving the outer laminate monolithic. If this damage was just filled, the outer laminate would just flex and produce a bubble.

The front beam on this Carbon 20 had been replaced.The current owner wanted to recess the dolphin striker into the beam seat, but there was not enough "meat."
A new section of beam tray was laminated. This was bonded and laminated in place, with the hull face repaired and finished.
