Working in conjunction with Stage One Productions, this stunningly realistic and vast scenic ship was the largest single item of scenery we have ever built.

At over 40 metres long and reaching 20 metres at its highest point, its graceful journey across Sochi’s Fisht stadium was an awe-inspiring highlight of the 2014 Paralympic opening ceremony.

Using our track system installed in the stadium roof, the Mir appeared to glide through the ice. Whilst constructed to be as lightweight as possible, the Mir also had to depict extraordinarily accurate detail, able to withstand the scrutiny of camera close-ups and that of the worldwide audience.

Fantastic start to their Youth Worlds today for Santi and Leo who are lying in 3rd overnight after 3 races.
Earlier we caught up with Leo who reports that it was a “Tricky first race as the conditions were big waves and chop so it was hard to get a head out but then for the second and third races the chop died off and we were able to get racing”.
The girls are lying In 13th overnight and we hope to catch up with them for their thoughts tomorrow! Well done both teams.

With the UK relaxing entry requirements for double jabbed UK Citizens there is just one test required to enter Croatia, a £29 Antigen test.

End of the season, last trip of the Summer and its going to be a 10 day epic sailing adventure.

8th-16th Sailing the Adriatic wherever the wind and our passage planning takes us.

16th Oct return to Marina Kastela.

The 10 day sailing trips will be aimed at those who want to learn to crew, or have their ICC, Day Skipper, Yachtmasters or need to build miles and brush up on skills for an exam.
