We received some lovely photos from a very happy customer onboard his beautiful, “Jammin”.

After she had grounded we shipped her back from Guernsey and carried out a full structural repair.

On Monday this week we welcomed a Princess 72 to the Shipyard from SETAG Yachts.

For the final stages of the project this stunning boat is in for some support in getting her ready before she heads off to Dubai.

Wight Sky recently travelled to Hythe Shipyard for her annual refit! 🛠️

This year she doesn't need to be drydocked, meaning she can be worked on in the water to get her smartened up ready for passengers traveling on our Lymington - Yarmouth route. 🏝️

A refit can vary from a fresh coat of paint to more technical refurbishments and repairs. Our engineers and crew take great pride in keeping our fleet in good order all year round but it is essential for us to invest time (out of service) to upkeep our fleet. ⛴️

Soon Wight Sky’s sister ship, Wight Light will be receiving the same TLC. 💙

We have welcomed “Wight Light London” to Desty Shipyard some remedial ramp work, in Hythe.

We are slipping vessels upto 500t, commercial or superyacht at our facility in Hythe. Deep water moorings and undercover workshop space for vessels upto 40m are also now available.

A very special day here at Desty Marine Superyacht Division. This beautiful 95 is the 20th boat to leave our shipyard. Since opening our doors in April 2021 we have continued to expand and grow. In that time we have also seen boats over 35m come and go. The team we have today and in previous years has been pivotal in keeping our quality in distribution to absolute perfection. A massive THANK YOU to everyone involved. The schedule book is extremely healthy for 2024 which makes for an exciting future at Hythe Shipyard.

With 2024 fast approaching we are continuing to look for new recruits to join our ever-growing team. Trades include:

· Carpenters
· Deckfitters
· Bonders
