What a wonderful week in the Lake District our passengers have had - the weather was good to us so we were able to enjoy the scenery, The World of Beatrix Potter, a trip to the gingerbread shop in Grasmere, 2 Boats trips, one in Windermere and one on Derwent Water, even stayed dry for the weekly market. Doris and Derick enjoyed their trip on the Train and a bit of pitch and putt ! Our first tour of 2026 to the Isle of Man is complete - thank you to The Regency Hotel, IOM for the most amazing stay, excellent food, friendly staff, beautiful rooms and all finished off with the character and charm our hotel offered to complete our stay. Our passengers took in the sights and the history of the island, we completed the route of the TT ! Not at 200 miles an hour but we certainly took in the views from the mountain roads. Our passengers took a journey on The Mountain Railway, the Laxey Tram and finished off with a visit to the Laxey Wheel. Doris & Derick travelled with us and got involved in the action, bringing a few laughs on the way.
