With heavy hearts, we would like to let everyone know the details of the funeral for our much loved Vera Longthorne.

Vera’s funeral will take place on Saturday 5th September at 12pm, at St Peter’s Church, Hebden, followed by a Celebration of Life at Hebden Tearooms.

Vera was such a colourful person who had a wonderful way of bringing light, laughter and happiness into the lives of so many. In keeping with her bright and vibrant personality, we would love for anyone attending to feel free to wear a little something bright whether that’s a colourful brooch, tie, scarf, or another special touch.

Most importantly, we hope everyone will come together to remember and celebrate the wonderful person Vera was and the colourful life she lived 💐🌈

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her ❤️

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vera Longthorne 🩵

Vera was not only a much-loved mum, grandmother and great-grandmother, but also a very special part of our family business.

As the beloved mum of Gordon, Jonathan & Mark who own and run the business, Vera was heavily involved over the years and played an important part in its journey. She touched the lives of so many people, both within our family and through the business, and her warmth, kindness and presence will be incredibly missed.

Vera leaves behind her 3 sons, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her love, memories and the wonderful impact she had on their lives.

Although our hearts are broken at losing her, we feel incredibly lucky to have shared so many years, memories and special moments with her. She will always remain a cherished part of our family and the story of our business.

Rest peacefully❤️
You will be forever loved, forever remembered and forever missed.
