Full time HGV driving opportunity***

I am looking for a reliable and experienced HGV driver to join our lovely local team based in Skipton.

It’s a full time position, working Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm

The role includes multi-drop deliveries and collections within the local area.
Loading and unloading of the vehicle when necessary.

A forklift licence preferred but not essential as we can provide on site.

We need someone who is physically fit and capable.

Job Title: Multi-Drop Delivery Driver

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our team in Skipton

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Optional Saturday mornings available

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out multi-drop deliveries efficiently and safely.
Loading and unloading the delivery vehicle.
Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and to a high standard.
Providing friendly and professional customer service.
Completing basic delivery paperwork / using delivery apps.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence (clean or minimal points preferred)
Previous multi-drop experience is an advantage, but not essential.
Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic.
Physically fit and able to handle deliveries.
Professional and customer-focused attitude.

There is significant disruption to service today throughout APC and UPN networks.

Due to the severe weather conditions last night, only a small number of vehicles made it to the hubs for trunking.

Deliveries across the country have been widely affected.
Collections are likely to be an issue is some areas today also.

Our priority is that of the safety of the drivers out on the road.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and will be working hard to catch up as soon as safe to do so.
