To mark the occasion of 30 years of IAC, we will be closed today while the team takes some well-earned time out to celebrate together with a team bonding day of go-karting. 🏎️

30 years is a huge milestone, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the people behind IAC, as well as the customers, suppliers, manufacturers, dealers and industry partners who have supported the business along the way.

Today is about celebrating the journey, the people and everything that has been achieved over the past three decades.

📖 A look back at IAC – April 2009

As we celebrate 30 years of IAC, we're spending October looking back through the years and sharing some of the stories, photos and memories that have helped shape the business.

Here's one from April 2009, when IAC was featured in the East Kent Gazette.

The article talked about IAC using a website called Stuff 2 Send, where members could advertise items that needed collecting and delivering, with couriers putting forward their prices.

For IAC, it was a clever way of making better use of journeys they were already making.

By combining these additional courier deliveries with their standard IAC work, they could take on extra jobs without necessarily having to make additional journeys - helping to reduce unnecessary mileage and keep the carbon footprint down.

It's interesting to look back and see some of the ways IAC was thinking differently about transport and making the most of every journey, even back in 2009.

And we love finding little pieces of IAC history like this! 💙💚

Meet Ian and Sue, the founders of IAC Delivery Solutions.

Back in 1996, they had an idea and the determination to turn it into a business. Thirty years on, that idea has grown into the family business we are today.

There have been plenty of milestones, memories, challenges and achievements along the way, and as we celebrate this special anniversary, we want to recognise the people who made it all possible.

It’s been quite a journey!
