Steve has many years experience providing the
skills required to work horses in a historic agricultural setting. He has the expertise to work all historic farming implements including ploughing, mowing and binding. Since 1999 Steve has provided the horse and livestock operation at the Ironbridge Gorge Museum's Victorian town at Blists Hill. This enterprise illustrates the role of the working horse in Victorian England. Steve is also able to provide carriage and horses for weddings and public events of all kinds. Very successful project is also his Experience Day with his Shire Horses, with very positive feedback available for booking through his website or through this page. He has provided horses and vehicles for film work which has included BBC productions: 'Bargain Hunt', 'The Great Ship', 'Houses Behaving Badly', 'Victorian Farm, 'Antiques Roadshow' and Channel 4's 'Watercolour Challenge', Lion Television's production, "Victorian Pharmacy" for BBC 2. Most recently we provided a pair of Shires for Guy Martin's Channel 4 series " How Britain worked". Steve’s horses and vehicles are available for film and promotional work. He has provided horses and vehicle for BBC'S 'Bargain Hunt', 'Houses behaving badly', 'The Great Ship', and Channel 4's 'Watercolour Challenge', and on numerous occasions for advertising features for the Ironbridge Gorge Museum.We provided horses for work on BBC2's Victorian Farm, Antiques Roadshow, and Victorian Pharmacy. We also provided Shire horses for Guy Martin's Channel 4 series How Britain Worked which was broadcast in November 2012. The most recent film work was for another BBC popular series - Celebrity Master Chef, filmed and broadcast in 2015. Steve and his horses have been used for promotional work including work for Higsons Brewery, Hanby Ales and the Ironbridge Brewery. Steve is also Panel Judge for The Shire Horse Society. In March 2013 Steve received by the Society the 35 years Long Service Medal Award.
