Ios Greece ✈️

☀️An easy island to get to from Santorini. 40 minutes Ferry. ☀️Gorgeous sea and beaches
☀️Hire a quad or buggy for the duration or a day. Quiet safe roads. The best I’ve been on in Greece.
☀️Amazing scenery and no one around. Find you peaceful beaches
☀️Known for a party island for the younger ones mainly Ozzies. Full of young kids but they appear when we sleep so no panic there
☀️A small town with little streets
☀️Only three main areas. The port, Mytopolas Beach and the town.
☀️Makes a great island for the start of your island hopping
☀️Not cheap for eating and drinking

After flying into Santorini we had a 3 hour wait for the ferry to Ios. A short 40 minutes Ferry right and a quick transfer to our hotel for 4 nights. The Dioynissos Beach Resort. The hotel was as expected from a Greek Island boutique hotel. Lovely peaceful feel, lovely pool and padded Sunloungers. Situated on Mytoplas Beach with free sunloungers and amazing sea. Only recommend the deluxe suites. The kids rooms were basic.

This area has the nice restaurants and for those who want to party the Far Out Beach club. With it being early season it was quiet here. Ios Town by early evening is nice. Little streets but by midnight it’s where the party people head and full of young groups.

Our highlight was the Quad and Buggy day. We adventured out in the mountains and to a few beaches before stopping at a mountain taverna with amazing views for lunch. Quick change and out for the night. Dressed for the evening getting back in the buggy 🤣 As usual and my sunset obsession we went to find the best sunset views. Typically the clouds came and hid it, all these it was a lovely view while driving.
We finished our day on the Ios port having a lovely Thai meal. Needs must as always our fav food!

I’m now sat on the Ferry for 90 mins en route to Naxos.

This is so true and being shared a lot on Facebook recently.

How you can build an incredible business being a celebrity. Facebook followers, family and friends all comment and share posts of celebrities and people they never meet. Running your own business and building it up from zero to successful is hard and solely rely on social media and referrals. That’s the only place I get leads and business. No magic just hard work.

Who is an early morning flyer and who likes a night flight ?

Personally I’d love an 11am flight out and 11:55pm home.

After heading to Crete the other week with an afternoon flight, I have to say I much preferred this. No getting up at 3am like today.

I’m that person whose house needs to be tip top for the burglars so leaving middle of the night causes more pressure to keep tidying before I close the door 🤣

Sat on the plane tired before the journey begins, never been a morning person I’m a night Owl just like my Dad! My customers probably notice this too .

No sleep for me this flight, no Children behind but an adult constantly kicking my seat.

Who turns round and asks politely to stop? Not something I’ve ever done but would really like to right now 😩

Wish me luck for the next 4 hours in a bumpy seat
