Commercial Assistant
Part-Time Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Commercial Assistant to support the catering and retail operations of our business, including assistance at supervisory level during Open Air Theatre shows.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience in busy catering and retail environments who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced customer-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting the day-to-day operation of catering and retail outlets
* Assisting with stock control, merchandising, and customer service
* Supporting supervisory duties during Open Air Theatre events
* Serving food and beverages, including alcohol where required
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation
* Assisting with setup and close-down procedures for events and trading periods

Essential Requirements

* Previous experience in a similar catering and retail environment
* Full UK driving licence
* Must be aged 18 or over due to alcohol sales responsibilities
* Previous supervisory experience

Desirable Requirements

* Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 (or above)
* Personal Licence for the sale of alcohol
* Experience working within live events, theatre, or outdoor venues

Hours & Contract

* Minimum 20 hours per week, with additional hours available depending on business needs
* Fixed-term contract ending 31st October, with potential for extension for the right candidate
