📢 BIG NEWS ON THE HORIZON, AND WE ARE ALL AS EXCITED AS LAIKA THE DOG (swipe for video 🐕) See bottom of post for link to new Instagram account

🚲 This year, the superbly capable and altogether very lovely Elliot and Ellis will be running the bike hire. Apart from a wee break last year, Elliot has been maintaining the bikes for a few years 🔧 and they have both been living and working on the island. I am delighted that the bikes and the customers will be in very good hands!

🌊 The paddleboards are going to be looked after by the magnificent Declan, who is a little more elusive, and therefore more difficult to get a photo of. Happily though, I found a video of him proudly showing off the working headlights of his new (very very old) Land-rover that he and his partner are bringing back to life! 🚙

🎵 Where am I off to, you might wonder? Well, I'm off to play my fiddle, sing songs, tell stories, and encourage people to taste whisky at The Whisky Vaults in Oban 🥳 Why not come say hello? There are 10 lovely rooms available, whisky shows, and lots of live music in the bar! 🎻

Thanks so very much to all the Colonsay Bikes and Boards customers that have supported this local business over the years. I feel quite emotional to be saying goodbye, but it's just 'bye-for-now'! I was so lucky to have the opportunity to take the business over from the absolute legend that is Archie (still going strong!), and it's a great asset to the island, so it's no wonder that I'm so massively grateful to Elliot, Ellis and Declan for making it possible for me to go and do something a bit different this summer - total champs! 🏆 🏆 🏆
