Together, we made a difference.

Martin, Philippa and the Buckham Fair Committee are incredibly proud to announce that, thanks to your amazing generosity, Buckham Fair 2026 has raised £138,000 in support of the Emergency & Critical Care Unit Appeal at Dorset County Hospital.

Every ticket purchased, donation made and act of support has helped us move one step closer to improving emergency and critical care for our local community.

This incredible total simply wouldn’t have been possible without our visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, neighbours and everyone who helped make this year’s fair such a tremendous success.

From all of us at Buckham Fair, thank you for helping us make a real and lasting difference. Together, we’re supporting better care for Dorset, now and for future generations.

All kidding aside though, thank you to all the wonderful organisers of this great local show, we love being a part of it and taking care of all things waste! ♻️

🌟 A Brand New Waste Management Solution for This Year's Show! 🌟

This year we've introduced a brand new waste management system, and the difference has already been incredible!

In previous years, skips were positioned around the showground and emptied at the end of the show. This year, Jamie, Lucy and the team at RV Maidment LTD have brought along a dustcart and are emptying all the bins before the show opens each day. The result? No more overflowing bins and a much cleaner, tidier showground for everyone to enjoy.

They've also introduced dedicated recycling collections, with glass being recycled from the Chase Bars - Mobile Bar Hire b**r tent and cardboard collected from our catering and traders. It's fantastic to see even more of our waste being recycled and managed responsibly.

A huge thank you to Jamie, Lucy and the whole team for all their hard work and for helping to make this year's show cleaner, greener and more enjoyable for everyone. 👏♻️
