A remarkable survivor. Trawden's Victorian Pissoir. Please follow the video link in comments for more. The French came up with the idea for this type of public convenience, hence the name with the first in Paris in 1830. There are a few remaining but not many. Trawden's was renovated in 2018 and is no longer used for it's original use, it's now an interesting roadside relic.

"Hawes Junction Chimney" commemorating the 1910 train crash. Please follow the video link in comments for more. Chistmas Eve 1910, the Glasgow express collided with two light engines north of Hawes Junction. 12 people died.
The signalman forgot about the two locos when he accepted the express. The express caught up with them just north of Moorcock Tunnel. The chimney was found in the 1980s near Garsdale Station. It was removed from the lead engine. It is believed the loco was moved to Garsdale for onward transport to Carlisle. The chimney was removed so the loco would pass below bridges on the journey north. Then and now: Ribblehead Station. Please follow the video link in comments for a look around. The station opened in 1876, closed in 1970 then reopened in 1986.
