I’ve come up with a little package for the most experienced anglers and kayakers out there. This is right up there with what I would call ‘only just possible’.
I mean.. some of the usual route could be classed as pretty extreme anyway.. but this is a level above. This is nuts, bonkers, mental.
The route- obviously I’m not saying anything as usual… but it really does push the boundaries of navigation in a non powered kayak. So much so, that these trips are only available on the neapest tides of the year, and coupled with low wind and low swell conditions, AND a group with experience in kayaking and angling.
What to expect- fast tides on departure and return, an unbelievable back drop, a very remote and beautiful fishing location, and hopefully lots of decent fishing as previous trips have offered. We are basically stranded for 6 hours while the Irish Sea does its thing, we wait for the tide to change before returning home.
I’ll be releasing more info on the standard packages which may takes us down one of many routes, carefully planned to suit the group of the day. Il get these out in a few days
