Alice’s Wonderland Express returns to the Spa Valley Railway in Tunbridge Wells this weekend only - Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September.

Step aboard for one of the summer’s stand-out family events, with steam train magic, Wonderland fun, and a very important date you won’t want to miss.

Trains depart Tunbridge Wells West at 10:00, 11:30 and 13:55 on both days. Book ahead online, or buy at the station on arrival if tickets are still available.

👋 Farewell BIG Buffet Coach S69306 aka ‘Emily’ 👋

Our former static buffet carriage, which served at Tunbridge Wells West station until 2019, has been sold and will be moving to a new home for onward preservation.

As it requires heavy investment and we're able to offer the same items in our shop and other catering outlets, we made the decision to let it go.

We'll leave it to the new owners to share more about its next chapter and destination — watch this space! 🤫

All Aboard Alice's Wonderland Express at the Spa Valley Railway today! Families can enjoy a wonderfully chaotic royal adventure as Wonderland comes to life on board a steam train!

For those who missed yesterdays event, trains depart from Tunbridge Wells West at 11:30 and 13:55 on Monday, 31st August. Tickets available on the website or from the ticket office. 🚂🐰✨

⚠️ Service Update

Due to signalling issues on the mainline section of our railway, Forge Farm Crossing is currently unavailable for us to use. As a result, our trains are unable to operate to Eridge.

Trains will therefore operate as far as Birchden Junction until we are advised that the signalling system has been restored.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.
