We are now temporarily closed for essential track and rolling stock maintenance.

Another bumper 'Stansted Summer Festival' weekend with just over 1000 passengers visiting the railway.

We are open again on Saturday 1st March!

Lots of hard work from the team replacing approx. 200 track sleepers, renewing the turntable, cleaning the station platforms and general maintenance, already for the re-opening on Saturday 1st March (Weather permitting).

Theo has had it's engine and gearbox removed and is currently being overhauled and lastly, Grafter has had a new gearbox fitted.
Phew! Fantastic team work from everyone involved.
