Adding UV ye to the oil makes a smoke leak detector even more powerful. Even the tiniest of leaks will show up using this method.

if you have tried tracking down an air leak by the old method od spraying carb cleaner you are in for a shock when using the smoke technique ie it works beautifully.

An added benefit is adding ultra violet dye to the oil and then using an ultraviolet light o track down the smoke in low conditions ie a garage or some sort of hood to cut down the light levels
