This is what the Bass are coughing up all over the deck!!

Please trust me there is heaps of bait around this year & the Bass super tuned in & switched on to either sand eels or white bait/sprat at the moment so isn’t it obvious to match to catch ?

Don’t try to tell me worm baits will do better 🤣

🔥Weekly Bass report onboard Dawn Tide II🔥

Well I don’t know where to start what a week we have had on the lures its just insane bass fishing at the moment!!

The amount of bass about is incredible & im very grateful to have this & i do hope it continues!!

The average stamp this season is fantastic 55-60cm is normal & you can easily boat 40-50 bass per person in a session thats 350-400 bass a trip 🤯

Now Some days it has all been on the surface & thats an exciting method seeing the takes off the top!!
Other days its been hard on the bottom on the cotton candy 60-80-100g jigs in the deeper water.
Also we have had many sessions on the soft plastics & surf seekers just sub surface or midd water personally i find these takes the most aggressive & fun.

Just a little quick few pointers as im getting loads of messages asking me how im lure fishing all day everyday off the Essex coast.

The 3 main keys to success id say are
Number 1 you must the correct set ups vertical jigging & lure casting,
Number 2 you Have to move about & change grounds jumping from bust up to bust or moving from area to area in some cases leave fish to find more fish. Basically its all down to different states of the tide for different feeding windows on different grounds.
Number 3 being able to adapt quickly switching from vertical jigging to casting depending on the area, depth & water clarity.
My implementing all 3 is how i find we do the damage its being able to switch it up in a flash & being prepared to cover ground & having the right gear.
Its took me many seasons to perfect it on Dawn Tide II & didn’t happen in a few trips unfortunately - but just drop me a message I’m always happy to pass on what i have learned over many seasons plus i may even learn a thing or two from you guys i don’t know everything im
Just out doing it daily & still Learning bits myself 👍🏻

Anyway i have recently had people travelling from all over the country to experience what we have on offer & im truly grateful for all the support. A few guys got me thinking after they said to me it was actually way way better than i make it out to be so maybe im not doing it justice or im getting used to it 🤷🏻‍♂️ either way its actually incredible.

This season we have planned some educational content on the lure fishing in Essex i feel it can help alot of you guys who want to learn.
Again the main key is adapting quickly & being prepared covering lots of different grounds & having the right gear but trust me once you get the hang of it you wont target bass any other way!!

Im going to do a nice talk through of set ups & how & where to use them you do need the correct gear to have great success

🔥🎣 More crazy Bass fishing today 🎣🔥

This frenzy was a decent stamp of 55-60cm
We actually left working fish to find these ones but it paid off 👍🏻

Noisy buggers this lot were 👂

Absolute unreal Bass session today 🔥🎣

Had the top crew onboard
Ben from Penn & Robbie from savage gear
plus some Portuguese wierdo from Fils Tackle

We were Doing what we do best nailing them Bass on a assortment of lures & Jigs!!

No lie there were some absolute crazy scenes out there today heaps & heaps of busting Bass its a incredible!!

Evening lure fishing session approaching

Due to popular demand On the Next evening weather window il be putting on a lure session as the Bassing is off the charts at the moment!!

Its incredible the amount of bust ups we see in a day we counted 14 today alone in various different locations!!

Tip of the day is hit a shoal find out the stamp if there no good just move on to the next one until you find the better fish don’t sit on the same patch hoping miracles 🤣

Straight into them doubles on our inshore hound evening session 🦈🎣

They do half bolt in 5ft of water!

The Suns out, the fish are about & its flat calm my favourite way to spend an evening 🎣
