6 x Tramper Driver’s Required
We are increasing the amount of trucks in our fleet and are looking for drivers to come and join our team.
Monday to Friday and a Rota’d 1 in 4 Saturday with no other weekend work required.
Mixed Fleet of Volvo, Mercedes, Renault and Scania for drivers, trucks are fitted with all the extras that drivers need when away from home. Also back at our base we have invested heavily for our drivers to have the best facilities they can get.
Mainly the work will be containers from Thamesport and Purfleet but there is some general work if preferred and some exhibition work if drivers want to progress onto that.
4 on and 4 off shifts available
PM shifts available also tramping
Start times are super flexible to suit you, you tell us what time you prefer and we will do our upmost best to start you around that time each week. However, you cannot start midday on a Monday and finish midday on a Friday!
Unfortunately in the world we live in today we are so heavily taxed and supporting those with mild anxiety or generally too lazy to work, on top of this now our orange friend across the pond with his war that’s seen
Fuel prices rocket, margins are pretty non existent so We actually have to get at least 5 full days from each truck and not 4 and a bit of a day…..
Take Home Pay around £850 per week for 5 days and £1050 for 6 days depending on Tax code. 28 days holiday and Paye only, so, please don’t ask if you are a tax dodger and want to give us an invoice in a weird name. We have an operators license and plan on keeping it for many years to come and we don’t want to be lumbered with your tax bill in the future because you haven’t paid it.
Before anyone starts moaning they want £1500 a week wages, we plan on still being here for many years and by not paying unsustainable wages, doing it legally and properly, we can do this (Yes drivers deserve more but the world needs to be realistic) and not be the next subject on socials because we’ve gone bankrupt, not paid driver’s deductions to HMRC etc…. so we do our best, we provide a fair wage, modern trucks and a great team to work alongside. We are aware some of you will no doubt earn more than this and we are super happy for you. This is the best we can do so please understand that.
If you are looking for 8-10hours a day and home every night, this job is not for you (like many other tramping jobs) so please don’t become a keyboard warrior and just move along and take that trunking/supermarket job.
Please understand we are simply trying to employ people, provide 6 families with a wage and do our best so we do not need negativity from people that have never even employed someone in their life. It’s tough out there and much easier to be nice to each other 😎👌🏻
