Canal Bridge bed planted up- it was a very HOT job. Watered with canal water‼️Thanks to our workers - young and old and thank you to Nurture for gifting the plants. 👍

We planted up the station planters and the ones at the library - thank you to Alan who has done the Norden Court and Station Rd ones and thank you to Nurture for gifting the plants. We will meet again on Thursday (meet at the a station at 1pm)! - probably work on the Canal Bridge beds and if we have enough plants we will put some in the Station Car park beds.

We worked hard this morning - just 5 of us - 4 in our late 70’s and a young Mum with her toddler. We cleared the planters on the platforms and weeded the car park beds. See our before and after photos. We are meeting again on Monday and Thursday next week at 1pm to get started with planting. - we will meet at the station but will be working around as needed. Any help would be really appreciated!

PROSPECTS need HELP Tomorrow Friday 19th at the Railway Station! I started clearing the space for the bedding plants to go into the bed by the canal bridge! - see my before and after photos! We now have the bedding plants generously donated by Nurture. We need to clear the Station planters too. If anyone is able to help clearing and planting please meet us at Rishton Railway Station at 10am tomorrow - Friday 19th. - look out for further dates and times when we hope to be working as we won’t get them all done tomorrow!
Let’s make Rishton look brighter!
