Sometimes we simply know a name in our calendar. Sometimes we’re lucky enough to hear the story behind it. 🤍

This beautiful family’s story has stayed with us. A little reminder to always be kind, to cherish the little moments, and that we never truly know what someone else may be carrying.

And perhaps, to have those conversations about organ donation with the people we love. 🤍

All stays mean a lot to us, but some stories stay with you. 🤍

One of our guests has now stayed at Hilly for 20+ nights. She lives just 30 minutes away and, while caring for her dad, Hilly has become her little sanctuary, close enough to get home if she’s needed, but far enough away to switch off, breathe and recharge.

And honestly, that’s exactly why we created Hilly.

It’s our place of peace too, and we’ve poured so much love into making it somewhere people can pause, reset and just be.

We’re so grateful she keeps choosing Hilly. 🤍🌿

There’s something really special about having guests come back to Hilly. 🥹🤎

This week we welcomed back our lovely guests from Germany 🇩🇪 for their second stay, and knowing they’d chosen Hilly again honestly means so much.

I love remembering what they enjoyed last time, recommending new walks and places to eat, and knowing I can relax a little because it feels like welcoming old friends back. 🥰

And they’ve already said they’d love to come back again… so I’ve sent them a little returning guest discount as a thank you. 🤎

For one very long minute, we couldn’t find our youngest. 😳

Instant panic.

We checked outside, called for him, and my mind had already imagined every possible scenario… only to find him tucked up in the cabin, completely chilled, like he’d booked the place himself. 😂🤍

Safe to say Hilly got the toddler seal of approval.

Please tell me I’m not the only parent whose brain goes straight to worst-case scenario? 😅👇
