Saturday was thankfully a dry day for me to pick up Becs for her wedding to Jordan.
Grampound road to Oceanside (formerly Carnmarth) Newquay.
Pictures at Fistral beach, the old lifeboat station and Newquay boating lake then back to the hotel for their reception.
We got the roof open too 😀

Photos in Marazion then off to Lands End Hotel
Caitlin and Tyler were very lucky, only a little drizzle and fairly clear skies.
Lola did well as she's now almost 60 !!

Lola's off to Lands End today via a ceremony at St Pol church near Newlyn.

I would just like everyone to know we are not packing up or selling out.
I just put Lola up for sale as I don't have my own storage and there hasn't been much call for 2 vehicles on the same day so ongoing costs have to be met.
If there is an increase in enquiries before a buyer is found I will keep both vans.

Built in Wolfsburg Germany 1963
Transported to California
Imported to UK circa 1996 and converted

The van was a minibus from new and has a factory installed pull back roof which is very rare

Original colour was grey/blue

Was repainted into white over cream
Interior panels are seats covered in white
Will seat 7 passengers and driver

1600 cc original engine
12v electrics
Stereo system
Cali ali wheels

Mileage around 62000 miles/98000km

All window frames have been replaced and they all open
Front screen opens and front side vents

Front disc brakes with all lines replaced

Has been a wedding car since coming to UK

V5 says van with windows

Layla went to Treskerby to pick up Becky and her daughters

A short trip to St Euny church Redruth for her marraige to Paul then off for a few pictures at Godrevy before going back to their reception at Heartlands.

The weather was great and we had the roof open all the way back which was an added bonus.

Layla and Lola were in convoy today to Mullion to collect Lisa Marie and her bridesmaids/family.
A trip over to the lovely Gunwalloe church by the beach and she was married to Chris.
We then went back to the Polurrian hotel for their reception.
A lovely day and the weather was FAB
