Major Ocean carriers have announced operational changes in response to the situation, including the suspension of Suez Canal and Strait of Hormuz transits, rerouting of vessels and the introduction of emergency surcharges across affected trade lanes. 🛑

• CMA CGM suspending Suez Canal transits and introducing emergency conflict surcharges

• COSCO SHIPPING Europe shipping Lines is directing vessels to safe waters and reducing Middle East port calls

• Hapag-Lloyd AG suspending Trans-Suez services and introducing war risk surcharges

• A.P. Moller - Maersk halting Hormuz crossings and rerouting services via the Cape of Good Hope

• MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company declares the end of voyage for shipments to the Arabian Gulf and customers should contact their local MSC office to obtain details regarding the designated port of discharge

Countdown to Christmas is on and so are the final deliveries - not a problem for us as we’ve just packed and shipped this drilling machinery consignment, ready for international export to Laem Chabang Port. 🏗️

📦 Shipment breakdown:
✅ 1 × 20GP container - 20000KG
✅ 1 × 40HC container - 20000KG
✅ 1 × 40ft open top container - 15000KG

Each unit was wrapped and securely strapped in, ready for international delivery.
