Yard Assistant Required
📍 Hours: 24 hours per week, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 8:30am and 5:30pm
💷 Wage: Depending on experience
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on individual to join our team as a Yard Assistant. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering a mix of boat maintenance, customer interaction and general site upkeep.
Duties will include:
• Helping to maintain our hire boat fleet, including sanding, painting, woodwork and cleaning
• Being trained to drive the fleet and assist customers with demonstrations and handovers
• General maintenance around the site, including mowing, painting, sweeping and other tasks as required
• Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the yard
Experience in painting and slipway operations would be advantageous but is not essential.
Requirements
• A practical, reliable and hardworking approach
• Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
• Friendly and approachable manner when dealing with customers
Additional Information
•Overtime opportunities will be available, including weekend work, particularly during our high season (April–October)
• We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to work additional hours when required
