Another vessel we moored at Ramsgate port for a few days the Forth Constructor, carrying out bouy maintenance off Ramsgate, good to see vessels increasing here 11-09-2025 great the see female captain and officers.
The MV Forth Constructor is a newly delivered maintenance support vessel for Briggs Marine, a UK-based marine services provider. Built by Freire Shipyard in Spain, the vessel arrived in the UK in early 2025 to join the Briggs Marine fleet.

Length: 40 meters
Propulsion: A diesel-electric DP-2 system for efficient dynamic positioning.
Primary role: The vessel is specifically designed to service Aids to Navigation (AtoN) and heavy inshore moorings for various contracts, including those with the UK government.
Versatility: It can also support offshore wind farms, conduct diving and ROV operations, perform surveys, and assist with inshore cable laying.
Special equipment: It features a generous moonpool, an active heave-compensated crane, a demountable A-frame, and a four-point mooring system.
Accommodation: The vessel has living quarters for a crew of 6 and up to 10 project personnel.
Operational status: In March 2025, Briggs Marine announced it had officially taken delivery of the new vessel.
The Forth Constructor is one of the newest additions to Briggs Marine's fleet and represents the company's continued investment in robust, capable, and efficient offshore vessels.
