On the slipway today to dock the GPS vessel Avenger, not that easy vessel to dock as only a small area to land, the vessel is over 300 tons well done all involved, great to see continual stream of different vessels using the slipway keeping them alive and investing in Ramsgate by GPS Marine, using local labour.

Another vessel we moored at Ramsgate port for a few days the Forth Constructor, carrying out bouy maintenance off Ramsgate, good to see vessels increasing here 11-09-2025 great the see female captain and officers.

The MV Forth Constructor is a newly delivered maintenance support vessel for Briggs Marine, a UK-based marine services provider. Built by Freire Shipyard in Spain, the vessel arrived in the UK in early 2025 to join the Briggs Marine fleet.

Key features
Length: 40 meters
Propulsion: A diesel-electric DP-2 system for efficient dynamic positioning.
Primary role: The vessel is specifically designed to service Aids to Navigation (AtoN) and heavy inshore moorings for various contracts, including those with the UK government.
Versatility: It can also support offshore wind farms, conduct diving and ROV operations, perform surveys, and assist with inshore cable laying.
Special equipment: It features a generous moonpool, an active heave-compensated crane, a demountable A-frame, and a four-point mooring system.
Accommodation: The vessel has living quarters for a crew of 6 and up to 10 project personnel.
Operational status: In March 2025, Briggs Marine announced it had officially taken delivery of the new vessel.
The Forth Constructor is one of the newest additions to Briggs Marine's fleet and represents the company's continued investment in robust, capable, and efficient offshore vessels.

We had the pleasure yesterday (10-09-2025)of mooring and welcoming this Super yacht to Ramsgate.

The superyacht Glacial Bear is a 39.6-meter world-cruising expedition yacht that was originally built in 1993 by Brooke Yachts in the UK and underwent an extensive refit from 2016 to 2018. Previously named Kiring, Scout, and Scout II, its robust design allows for long-range voyages.

We had a early start today to deliver this beautiful classic motor boat ‘Sheemaun’ to Dover for her owner from Ramsgate, where she will be lifted out and have some routine maintenance done by a local company, whilst down there we picked up a job to change a starter motor over on a service craft all worked out well.

Busy few hours for us yesterday. Barge off slip. Next barge arrived unexpected so put straight up onto slip. Towed Jame Craig’s Mega Whelk vessel across to another berth, all before 1000. Quick coffee and off to work we go! 🪣♠️💣 hi ho hi ho
