Heading out on the jet ski over the summer? It is important that you are aware of the rules before you start:

1) Before being allowed to launch all power boats and jet-skis must be registered with the Council - https://orlo.uk/qxdAM
2) Ensure that you comply with the rules in force and keep to a speed of no more than 4 nautical miles within 100 meters of the shoreline.
3) Launch only in authorized areas and be very careful when driving on the beach

Just a quick reminder that all vessels must have a valid registration before launching. Please ensure you've collected your stickers and that they are clearly displayed on your boat or ski.
Unfortunately any vessel not displaying in date registration will be prohibited to launch.

**Slipway Update**

As we approach the 2023 season Total Boat Care is facing continued challenges due to price increases.

Due to the above we have no option other than to increase our slipway charges to come inline with other providers in the area.

Our prices for self launch as of 1st April 2023 will be:

£20 for a day launch

£180 for an annual pass (1/04/23 - 01/04/24)

(All vessels must be registered with Gwynedd Council)

Due to growth and development of the business we are looking for skilled marine mechanic/rigger to add to our team on a part or full time basis.

The successful applicant will be working on a wide variety of luxury Ribs and Sports Boats.

The person we are looking for will be able to carry out various tasks on boats and be able to manage their own work including but not limited to:

Maintenance
Fitting/Rigging
Diagnostics
Repair/Servicing
Detailing/Valeting

In addition, the role includes installation of outboards & marine electronics to new and used boats. Experience in general boating systems, including 12V electrics is essential, as is a full clean driving license. Manufacturer training is desirable although additional certified training is available.

Working under pressure whilst maintaining the high levels of quality that our customers expect from us, will be essential to your success in this role.

Driving license is essential, with boat handling experience and towing being a plus.

Skill scope:

- Able to install, service, & repair outboard motors.

- Confident with 12V electrics

- Ability to work independently, seeking advice when required.

- Must be able to work in a clean and tidy manner.

- Qualified marine engineer with minimum 3 years experience with outboards and inboard engines.

Preferred qualifications:

- Outboard manufacturers training certificates.

- NVQ3 or equivalent in marine engineering.

- Experience with marine electronics

Good rate of pay available/negotiable on experience etc.
